Our Check-Out library began in 2010 with a large donation of books from Ann Willis.  The donation was not intended to start a library but Liz Mangile decided to catalog all the books and allow members and supporters the opportunity to borrow books at no cost.  These books were brought to our meetings to be checked-out by those present.  All that  is required is to write down your name, date and name of the book and to return them when finished - no set time.

We continued to get more donated books related to nature and the current library contains over 150 books - about one-third of them are children's nature books.  Hauling that many book to the meetings was no longer an option!  So all the titles and authors were entered in an Excell file and have been put on our web site.  Now you can grouse through the list of books by clicking SGAS Library Books and let us know what you would like to check-out.  Please excuse any spelling errors in the titles and author's name(s) or other errors!  Books are labeled for Children or Adults.

We do expect that the books be cared for (no folding or marking on pages) and that they be returned when finished reading.  You might have to come by because we cannot haul 150 books to each meeting - it just is not feasible!
